Marine Protected Area Enforcement Training

The CEO of SPGA, Mr. Allen Cedras together with the Senior Training Officer Mr. BERNARD Bijoux had the privilege of attending an informative training session on enforcement related to Marine Protected Areas. It was an honor for CEO Cedras to be an esteemed facilitator for the training. The comprehensive training covered various crucial topics such as intelligence, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), mapping, enforcement tools, and operational planning.

This valuable training took place in the beautiful coastal town of Diani, Kenya. Additionally, a visit to the Kisite Mpunguti Marine National Park and Reserve was organized to provide participants with an opportunity to witness the practical application of the skills they acquired during the training. The Training was facilitated by the Western Indian Ocean Marine Science Association( WIOMSA).
